This is a lovely place to just hang out, relax and explore the beautiful south Somerset countryside. There are an abundance of places to visit, walks to walk, pubs to enjoy!! It has been beautifully designed both environmentally and aesthetically. Light and airy, but warm and cosy. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed.

The Hermitage is beautifully finished and equipped with everything you need for a peaceful escape. Comfy beds, fluffy towels and a roaring log burner! The hosts were so helpful and friendly and we enjoyed a beautiful long walk, right on the doorstep. Highly recommended!
What a beautiful property! Absolutely spotless and set in a lovely rural location, we enjoyed walking to the local village and to the Farm & Field farm shop for a superb breakfast from the property. The hosts were extremely helpful and provided lots of tips for places to visit and eat. We loved our cosy evenings sat by the fire and are now feeling fully relaxed and recharged after our short stay at the Hermitage, we are already planning our next visit.
Beautiful cabin with tranquil touches. We used the fire place every evening and the hosts kindly added more wood. The place was very peaceful and just what we needed away from London. Recommended to all our friends and family! Will definitely be back.
Such a wonderful place to stay. It’s a beautifully designed place with really nice touches. The views out of the windows are stunning. Super peaceful and great for relaxation. There’s lots locally to do but it’s also perfect for doing absolutely nothing! The hosts have thought of everything. We will definitely visit again.
